Up to 168,000 cubic metres of water thunders over the brink of the Horseshoe Falls every second, traveling 65 kilometres per hour. That might sound like a lot, but to really feel it you’ll need to don your iconic poncho, stand on the Upper Observation Deck and look up, way up!
Journey Through Time
Journey Behind the Falls holds a rich history, dating back to 1832 when the first staircase was constructed down into the Niagara Gorge for visitors to enter what was then called the “Sheet of Falling Water” attraction. This history is celebrated and showcased throughout a refreshed queuing area featuring all-new exhibits
